Involved in new customer acquisition activities along with business development
o Working on initial product development enquiries of new customers
o Involved in costings for initial enquiries of new customers before the customer is allocated to a merchandiser with confirmed business enquiries
o Identifying most suitable material and development resources from the existing pool of suppliers
o Sourcing and introducing new material suppliers
o Supporting trend sourcing
o Able to connect and correspond with multiple factories and customers.
must be well versed with technical and construction aspects of various product categories like leather bags, pu bags and textile bags.
must have knowledge of re-engineering bags to upgrade or downgrade the value depending on customer price requirements.
should be keen learner, team player, disciplined and well organized.
should be willing to travel to factories, markets, and customers on short notices.
must have a keen personal sense of fashion.
