MPS ships billions of products a year that are used in everything from consumer electronics and IoT (Internet of Things) to laptops and cars. We are transforming power electronics design for electrical vehicles, robots, large battery package, data centers, automotive and industrial applications with memory-based programmable plug-in-play products. We are looking for a senior software developer who is passionate about quality control on configuration software for programmable electronic parts. Responsibilities: •Work with a team of software engineers to QA Windows applications that allow MPS customers to interface with our programmable products. •Work with Product Application Engineers to collect, understand and document software requirements. •Define test plans, develop/execute testcases and setup automated tests as needed. Requirements: •Experience as a software test engineer debugging and triaging complex desktop applications. •Excellent communication skills to work closely with software and hardware engineers, both verbal and written. •Customer-focused, organized, thorough and meticulous. •Good team player. •Experience with C# or other scripting languages a plus. Good to have: •Experience as a software test engineer debugging and triaging web applications •Experience with test automation frameworks for Windows and/or web applications •Familiar with Agile software development, using JIRA project management tool and SCRUM process. •Good English communication, writing, and presentation skills. •Electrical Engineering background or related experience is a big plus. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
