OBJECTIVES
The HR Generalist will support the HR Operations Manager in delivering efficient and effective HR services across the organisation. This role involves managing HR standard operating procedures (SOPs), optimising HR systems, analysing and reporting HR data, coordinating HR projects (including digitalisation and automation), and overseeing employee lifecycle processes. The position also covers staff accommodation administration, employee engagement events, and ensuring HR operations align with company policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement, maintain, and update HR Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
Learn HRIS and other HR-related systems to enhance functionality and user experience by manager’s guidance.
Assist manager to implement improvements to HR systems for greater automation and efficiency.
Collect and analyse HR data to support manager to find insights.
Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports for management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Support and coordinate HR initiatives aimed at digital transformation and automation of HR processes.
Maintain accurate records of staff apartment including allocation, occupancy, and maintenance.
Facilitate employee wellbeing activities and events.
Conduct onboarding processes, including documentation, orientation, and system setup.
Coordinate offboarding activities, exit interviews, and clearance procedures.
Track employee contract expiration and manage timely renewals or terminations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s degree
Major in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Language
Fluent in English
Working Experience
1 - 3 years HR generalist, HR operations, or related experience
ideally in a context that includes international staff
EXPERTISE
Experience of working in international companies or similar background preferred
Knowledge of HR processes, systems, and employment law.
Fluency in English and Chinese
Experience with HRIS systems and process automation preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The ability to priorities workload and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of people and interpersonal skills
